Switchable Smart Glass is a complete, laminated glass unit that replaces your existing window or partition. Adhesive Smart Film is a retrofit product that you can apply directly onto your existing glass surfaces to make them switchable.
Both products use a technology called PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal). When an electrical current is applied, the liquid crystals align, making the glass transparent. When the power is off, the crystals scatter randomly, making it opaque for instant privacy.
Adhesive Smart Film is for applying to existing glass (DIY or professional installation). Non-Adhesive Smart Film is a raw material used by glass manufacturers to laminate between two panes of glass during the window production process.
Yes, we also offer high-end Motorized Curtain Systems. These provide automated privacy and light control with elegant fabrics, and can be integrated into smart home systems, offering a different aesthetic from smart glass.
Yes, our Adhesive Smart Film is designed for DIY installation, and we provide detailed guides. For large or complex projects, we recommend using a professional installer to ensure a perfect finish. Switchable Smart Glass, however, requires professional installation.
You can control our products in various ways: a simple wall switch, a remote control, a mobile app on your smartphone, or even through voice commands via smart home systems like Amazon Alexa or Google Home.
Cleaning is simple. Turn the power off (so it is opaque). Use a soft cloth with a mild, non-abrasive soap or glass cleaner, then dry with a soft squeegee or microfiber towel. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive materials.
Our technology is very energy-efficient. It uses very low voltage and consumes less than 5 watts per square meter only when in its transparent (on) state. When it is opaque (off), it consumes zero power.
